This trail is an easy, fully paved out and back trail alongside a reservoir. The trail is very well maintained and a go-to place for bikers. It is partly shaded and has lovely views of the lake all along the way. There are many resting points along the way to enjoy the views. Towards the end, the trail starts to climb up to a dam. The hillside here is lush green with wildflowers in spring. There is no access to the dam but you can see the start of a second reservoir.
We did this hike with both our girls. We were walking and the girls were biking. It was a special treat to do this with them!
